Roadline Civil Contractors are currently seeking

PROJECT MANAGER/SUPERVISOR

  • Full Time Position
  • Broome Based

Since its establishment in 2006 Roadline progressed from a plant hire and small projects contractor to a civil and earthmoving contractor for the Kimberley; in recent years has undertaken to develop its capabilities to provide contracting services Government, Water, Oil and Gas, Mining, Road transport urban development and traffic management markets around Western Australia.

We now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer/Project Manager to join our team in Broome, your proven track record of meeting project goals will be a major advantage, as will be your strong communication and negotiation skills.

Key deliverables:

  • Develop tender proposals, evaluate and submit
  • Understand, review and administer contract documentation to ensure compliance
  • Develop, maintain and monitor robust project schedules and costing
  • Provide regular financial and performance reports on projects
  • Lead and deliver assigned projects simultaneously to meed the agreed scope, budget and timelines from commencement to completion
  • Conduct site inspections and mentoring on site
  • Support site supervisors and deal with potential issues
  • Schedule and coordinate in-house and external trade contractors and suppliers

To be considered for this position you will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Must be a Broome resident
  • Right to work in Australia
  • A minimum of 7 years' project management/civil engineering experience in a similar role performing both onsite and office-based project management/engineering duties
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management and Engineering, or equivalent substantial work experience
  • Demonstrated experience in the successful delivery of civil construction projects to schedule, within budget and on time within the Kimberley and/or throughout Western Australia
  • The ability to manage and supervise other team members, including construction work crews
  • A strong commitment to a safe work environment
  • Well-developed verbal, written, computer and problem-solving skills
  • Drive to develop ongoing working relationships and build on existing clientele
  • Be energetic, fun and have an enthusiastic attitude

ALL ROUND OPERATOR 

To be eligible you must meet the following criteria:

  • Broome based
  • Final trim (Grader & Skid steer)
  • Proven experience with GPS & UTS including set up and programming
  • Relevant certificate of competency/current licence
  • OHS Card
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
